1. Interpretation and Definitions
Interpretation
Words with capitalized initial letters have defined meanings under these conditions. These definitions apply to both singular and plural forms.
Definitions
- Company: Skumar Films ("we", "us", "our").
- Client / You: The individual or entity purchasing services.
- Service: All photography, videography, editing, delivery, and album design activities offered.
- Deliverables: Final edits, raw data, albums, photographs, or films.
2. Acknowledgment
By booking our services or using our website, you agree to these Terms. If you do not accept, do not use our services.
3. Service Terms
Booking and Payments
- 30% advance is required to secure your dates (non-refundable).
- 30% is due on the first event day.
- 30% on the final event day.
- 10% must be paid before the final data is delivered.

4. Delivery Schedule
- Raw photos: within 5–7 days after full payment.
- Edited photos: 5–10 days after the event.
- Wedding film: Within 30 days after soundtrack approval.
- Albums: Delivered within 15 days of design approval/payment.
5. Usage & Rights
We may use your photos/videos for promotional purposes unless you notify us in writing before the project starts.
6. Client Responsibilities
- Back up delivered files immediately — we are not liable after 30 days of delivery.
- Allocate 40–45 mins for couple shoots before the 'phere'.
- Smaller functions (Haldi, Mehendi) include 4–5 hours of coverage.
- Post-Vidai coverage must be agreed upon in advance.
7. Cancellations and Refunds
- Advance (30%) is non-refundable.
- Cancellation after services begin may result in forfeiture of additional payments.
8. Limitation of Liability
We are not liable for delays due to payment hold-ups or force majeure events. Client delay in photo selection may impact delivery.
9. Termination
We reserve the right to cancel services without refund if there is non-payment, misconduct, or unsafe working conditions.
10. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, under the jurisdiction of either Mumbai or Ranchi, based on assignment.
11. Dispute Resolution
We prefer to resolve disputes through informal communication. Failing that, mediation/arbitration procedures will follow Indian law.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may revise these terms. Material updates will be communicated at least 15 days in advance.
